    Migrating mns into cui

I just installed acad 2007 and need to migrate my .mns menus into the new .cui system.

So far, I've managed to migrate my menu into the cui, but only as a shortcut menu (vs. a menu). I was only able to accomplish that much by following an example in the help files customization guide (migration, menu files to customization files... the example said the mns would come into cui as a menu, but mine didn't)

1st, How can I bring the mns into the cui as a menu (not a shortcut menu)?

I now have the shorcut menu in the cui, but don't know how to call it up. The cui shortcut menu information tab says "You can also drag a shortcut menu onto a menu item to create a submenu", but that did not work for me, so I'm stuck at this point.

2nd, If I can't do my 1st choice above, how can I make my new shortcut menu a submenu?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Bruce Smith

The migration should not do that, unless you assigned POP numbers above 500
    for you menus.

It was POP0 that failed - changed it to POP1 and it worked.
