How to return mleaderstyle to previous mleader style

How can I restore a mleader style in a lisp routine?  I want to change it for the routine but I want the routine to return it to its original value?

Thanks for pointing out the error. I should have verified twice before posting.

I think I can't edit my earlier post. Somebody else might get misled.

[I take it back, partly.  It seems you can still Delete your own message after the time limit has passed for Editing it, but apparently not if anyone has Replied to it.]
