How to make Ctrl-V always paste to command line?

I rarely paste entities using ctrl-v, I use the WTIT.lsp commands instead, or edit pulldown to paste entities.

I want a CTRL-V to paste to command line, always, no matter what.

Any ideas? I tried killing the keyboard shortcuts through the CUI, but that just stopped ctrl-v from doing anything when I was not on command line.

(Even that is an improvement though).

Other ideas?

The only way I know is to give focus to the command line prior to Ctrl+V.

I suppose you could (somehow...) intercept the Ctrl+V call, then switch focus to the command line, then resume it?

that would have to be a transparent function, whatever it is.

Maybe a question for Kean....

I've gotten in the habit of using right-click-paste when paste-ing to the command line.  Only marginally slower than crabbing a hand around to CTRL-V, and avoids hitting the "G" keys that are just to the left of the standard keys on my keyboard.

hate to say it, I highly avoid right clicks for common commands. The mouse hand is so loaded with difficilt tasks, my right hand is sore by the end of the day.

I do use them sparingly though.
