File Types 32-bit and 64-bit

I am the first one in our office to get a 64-bit machine.  What file types cannot be shared with 32-bit users.

pc3?

cuix?

etc.

Thanks,

Kim

I'm testing shared CUIx (no problems so far) and different PC3 files due to potential differences in plotter drivers.  Anything thats a basic ASCII text file like LIN and LSP should be OK, as should DWG files for blocks, etc.

Exe files and probably dll files would be problematic.

Just for clarity.  Everyone in Eng. has AutoCAD loaded locally, but we share pc3's, cuix's, lsp, arx, and .NET dll's.

I know arx and dll's have to be recompiled and I figured I'd have to keep pc3's separate.  I wasn't sure about cuix's, in fact I'm surprised dgorsman said he is not having problems with his cuix.  I kinda figured I'd have to set up a separate folder for the cuix's.

I know that lsp and other text based files are fine.

Thanks,

CUIx files are just compressed XML files, which are themselves just ASCII text.  So I didn't expect many issues there.
