Exporting Text to Excell

I am trying to export what looks like a table of text to Excel. The problem I have is the table is not an actual TABLE within AutoCAD but rather just columns of text with lines drawn around it. ANy help in how I can grab this text and then put it into an Excel Spreadsheet would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you were to consider third party software, take a look at XL2CAD Pro, it contains a tool to let you simply window the array of text/mtext that makes up what appears to be a table.

Attached is an example of XL2CAD's export using it's Linework option.  This allows it to collect and sort (top to bottom) multiple text objects in a logical cell (such as the header).  The vertical lines where trimmed to eliminate export of the all "-" rows.  Otherwise the export took about 5 seconds.  Note that linework is not required.
