DXF Group Codes

Where can I find a listing of all the current dxf group codes and their
explanation that are used in A2K. I've looked in the manuals and also in the
on-line help in A2k searching for dxf and also group codes and I haven't
found what I'm needing. I looking specifically for the group code
information for a MTEXT object.

Should be in the Entities section of the DXF Reference.

The DXf appendix are no longer a part of the customsation manual
but can be found as a set of HTML files or a WinHelp file.

Brent,

For an object, MTEXT or line, or...
Draw this object in AutoCAD an type

Command : (entget(car(entsel))), and click your object, so you can read the
DXF codes

It is not found in the normal AutoCAD help. You must use the Visual LISP
Help Reference. Do this:
1. Type VLISP at the command prompt.
2. Pull down the HELP menu.
3. Select Visual LISP Help Topics.
4. Double-Click DXF Refence.
5. Double-Click ENTITIES Section.
6. Double-Click MTEXT.

... and there you have it!
