Change blocks color

Hi,

I have thousands of blocks having different layers with different colors as shown in sample "blocks color.dwg".

Can any one send the lisp for changing the blocks (nested blocks) entities colors to black with out exploding and changing layer.

Thanks

Why did not you reply to your preivous thread before you start a new one ?

Are we wasting our time here or what ?

The routine here does something slightly different, but you can probably edit it to do what you're looking for.

You can try attached CHZ20.vlx.

Step 1, Change all entities color to BYBLOCK.

Step 2, Change all BYBLOCK color to BLACK (0 0 0) or whatever color you like with a color matching rule file (a sample file attached).

Step 3, Change all block color back to BYLAYER or whatever color they were.
