Moshe A asked that maybe I try posting this issue here instead of the general DG. What I have in several drawings (10) are attributed blocks (20/dwg) that have been "block edited" and or Wblocked and reinserted that have the same block name but different attribute TAG names. I have tried several other routines including BATTMAN etc. to rename the TAG but without success. My thought was to use a lisp routine (I have not written one since 2002) that would go through a drawing find all the instances of a specified block look for an attribute TAG name in that block and if found replace the TAG name with another.
Then loop through the drawing until all block instances with that TAG name have been changed.
The TAG value can not change only the TAG name.
Any suggestions? And thank you
