Might there be some way to gather data relating to user speed in AutoCAD.

Being that we're in a LISP forum, methinks tayloring the .NET, WPF (XAML) code-behind for your plug-in might be over the head of some LISP-ers. 

 

 

 

I still feel that more information is needed to assist the OP in their request, but to otherwise point out a prudent starting point, one might consider a simple Command (and other?) Reactor(s) which writes to a custom log file (or dictionary?).
