Active Prompt causing issue in older Lisp routine

I have been asked by a client to verify that some older Lisp routines work in AutoCAD 2013. The routines work fine when I set the workspace to AutoCAD Classic with one exception. The routines make requests of the user via the command line but the program prompts appear to be "hidden" by the new Active Prompt (see clip1). If I flip the screen (F2) I can see the prompts on the history line but that line doesn't show on the command line (see clip2). (I hope I have explained myself sufficiently)

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to correct this?

Thank you in advance for your help.
