I'm trying to use ADOlisp to connect to remote server and retrieve data. I found this connection string:
"Provider=MS Remote;Remote Server=xx.xx.xx.xxx;Remote Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=c:\\inetpub\\wwwroot\\pgs\\pgs.mdb;Persist Security Info=False"
Where the xxx is a public IP address.
Seems like perhaps my firewall at the remote location could block this inbound traffic. Anyone know of a way to specify port so that I might check NAT settings on the firewall? Or is my connection string just jacked up?
