VBA Newbie question

I just got into VBA, a green-horn. I noticed that there is now a folder on
my root directory on my hard drive called "users", with a default folder
that contains a single file called "acad.box". Did VBA create that? I can
delete the file, but I can't delete the folders, 'cause of a sharing
violation. Is there any way I can change this to a different location?

Hi Josh,
If your using Mechanical Desktop, ect., I don't know for sure. But in
acad2000 this is not caused by VBA. It sounds like something generated by a
third party add on or proprietary to your PC. A "User" folder is generated by
softwares such as netscape, ect., but not in the root. Hope this helps to
narrow it down for you.

Hmm. I'm using R14, with S8 Arch & Bldg, but I don't think S8 caused it.
Almost everything is MS, except for our network. The VBA was the only thing
I could narrow it down to. I haven't done anything else lately out of the
ordinary like downloading something or running a program I don't normally
run, so I can think of nothing else but VBA for AutoCAD. I had deleted the
acad.box file, but since I went back into VBA yesterday, the file has
reappeared. Anyone seen that file before?

I get it on my NT4 workstation user R14 too. Don't have any idea what
causes it or anything, but it doesn't seem to harm anything, so I let it be.

I think that you will find that this is part of the VBA locking
mechanism. When a user loads a VBA project, other users loading the same
project will get a message indicating the project is in use and cannot
be modified.
