So I just got a poll asking if I rely on VBA in Acad to which I answered "no" assuming that they did actually mean VBA and not VB6 / .net which we rely on heavily in my neck of the woods. Just got to panicking that Autodesk may be considering not providing ActiveX access to Acad in future which would be almost as bad as ceasing to support the "circle" command. Worse actually, as ActiveX is loads more fun than circles except perhaps for circles made of chocolate wrapped in hundred dollar bills.

No need to panic. VBA is dying, but the ActiveX API will live on.
