How to get hDC of the text object?

Is it possible to get the hDC of a newly created text or Mtext object in VBA?

Thanks,

They're not windows, and don't have
device contexts.

Tony,

Thanks for your reply.

As far as I know, we can only get hDC for drawing file. Is that true?

I would like to get the hDC for a text object in a certain font file to use some of APIs. Any idea I can achieve that?

Thanks lot,

We need to display some special characters in some files, and was wondering if a certain font can achieve that. For example, we would like to know all symbols supported by Arial font. Any idea how to do that?
