Generic VB6 control into AutoCAD VB drain all resource!

Hi! I need to use vb6 control into dvb project,
but when I try to do so, my system resources are
drammatical drained. I'm usin AutoCAD Map2000 on
Win98 and VB6 with Sp3.
A dvb project containing a vb6 control drop down
system resource from 72% to 30%, only loading it.
What can i try to do?
