Can Paperspace Viewport Correspond With Modelspace Object? (ACAD 2009)

I write programs in VB and VBA to generate structural parts in Modelspace, but the company wants to add marks to the part in Paperspace.

I have an object in Modelspace. Can I go into Paperspace, create a viewport, and place a dot, for example, on a corner of the object?

Is there any way to establish a relationship between a Paperspace Viewport and a Modelspace Object?

If there is, that'd open up a lot of automation ideas for me.

Thanks.

Lemme jump in here and answer my own question. CHSPACE command.
If I can set up a scale for my stuff in modelspace, I can place a section mark, for example, on an edge of my part in modelspace, at a specific scale, then use the CHSPACE command to move it from modelspace to paperspace.
I'm now rubbing my hands together and twirling my handlebar moustache...
Oh, and ... uh ... Thanks, Lynne Allen.
