AutoCAD Profiles management

Hello!
I have a little problem with AutoCAD profiles, I hav made a little utility in VB that imports and exports profiles in a simple way.
The problem is that it seems that AutoCAD doesn't save changes to the profile (change of background color or toolbar locations and so on) in the NT registry until you do a Save or exit, I wonder if there is a way to save the current settings to the registry without doing a save or exiting AutoCAD.

Apjon,

If current profil is "PROF1"

Try to change the current profil in AutoCAD and
choose "PROF2"

After go to "PROF1" as current
profil

If memory serves me, I tried to "trick" the system by doing the profile switch as described by Bernard and was unsuccessful. Besides Save or Exit, I've found that opening and closing the OPTIONS dialog box will also update the registry. Having discovered this, I tried accessing various Options with VBA but was unsuccessful in getting the registry to update.

Would it be possible to use the ExportProfile and ImportProfile methods to 'trick' the system? Haven't tried it but I'm thinking that writing an ARG file then reading it back would fully update the registry. Steve
