I am migrating to ACAD 2012 an application developed using VB6. That application uses AppActivate in order to activate MS Excel so the user can select a cell and then go back to my application. The problem is with ACAD 2012 + Windows 7 64-bit, because AppActivate keeps Excel flashing in the task bar and the expected behavior was that the Excel main window became the top window with the focus on it. The same code works as expected with ACAD 2012 + Windows XP 32-bit.
I also tried with SetForegroundWindow and ForceForegroundWindow with no luck http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?p=4032267#post4032267
That code works for me when executed from applications other than AutoCAD 2012 64-bit. It seems that it wants to keep focus.
Does anybody know if there is a workaround for ACAD 2012 64-bit?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Excuse me Hallex, but your response has nothing to do with my question
It is not about 64-bit Jet support, but rather to activate and bring Excel main
window to top.
Perhaps I did not explain me well or you answered a wrong thread.
