By "shapes", do you mean data from shape file (*.shp and its companion files), or just a generic geometry shpae that you know the geometirc information, like a rectangle that you have all 4 corners' coordinate known?

I mean definite shapes that are used frequently in my draws, I work in a  buildings mechanical system firm and we use standard shapes of sink and other things, I want to make some shape out of them and make a form, so after clicking I can place them down instead of copying them from one file and move them to correct place

Just I'm wondering

Why are you won't to attach a simple picture

or drawing here to show us what you exactly need?

Do you want to draw shapes as closed polylines or what?

Take a look at  this page:

Take a look at this drawing as a brief example, as you see some devices are repeated I want to write a small applete that have a form, on the form icon of these units are displayed and by clicking on each of them you be able to place them where you want by probing your mouse.
