2015 AutoCAD and acad.dvb

Hi all,

I have a minor problem with the acad.dvb and was hoping that someone had a solution.  My acad.dvb puts dimensions, (m)text objects, and leaders on specific layers automatically.

First off, Yes, the acad.dvb is in the search path.

When I first start AutoCAD the acad.dvb file isn't loaded, I know because if I create a dim, text or leader the layer isn't changed. If I invoke the VBA Manager (vbaman) and then close it, the acad.dvb loads and is in the vbman projects list box.  After inoking the vbaman the acad.dvb works in any new dwgs or dwgs opened.  Invoking vbaman is just a one time deal for each session of AutoCAD.

I've never had to do this before.

Anyone have any ideas.

Thanks, Kim

As it turns out all that needs to be done is add acvba.arx to the startup suite.

Thanks to Ravi at Autodesk.

You could also add the ARX filename to an ACAD.RX file.
