copy paste properties between items

Many times is much easier to copy paste content from one item to another in the properties.

Is it possible to do that? Today I can copy paste "title" or "decription" . 

This needs to be extended to properties also.

This is possible. Select both files you want to copy and paste between (or 1 of them if they are in different folders).

Edit Properties (3 methods)

• Ctrl + E
• Edit menu > Edit Properties
• Properties Panel on the right > Edit Properties button

You can then add fields and other files. Then Copy, Paste, Capitalize, Find, and Replace.

It's true that it's not a simple Copy Paste method but it's very powerful and you should check multiple properties are correct while you're there anyways.

ADDENDUM - I just realized that you said, items (not files). I don't use items in my vault so I can't test but hopefully the method above works.

This can be done at the file level, then run an Update Item command.
