Vault Plot to include any printable attached files

Vault Plot to include any printable attached files

I attached an IDW file to another IDW file expecting that when I plotted (Vault Plot) the parent IDW it would also plot the attachment. It didn't. I think it should. When I do a Get/Checkout on the parent it also gets the attachment.

Brendan...

Not sure if this would work for your case or not, it works for us.

You can create a view of the common model file (.iam or .ipt) into the Sheet. We often insert the base model into the sheet, but outside the border so you can't see that view when printing, but it allows them all to be linked through the common model rather than thru the manual link you mention above.

So, when plotting, it finds all related files based on the models that were used to create the view. It sees all the .idw's that has the common model in them as a view and plot's them as a set.

That make sense...Good Luck.
