Recent documents list in Vault Exporer

Recent documents list in Vault Exporer

It would be a great option to have a "Recent Files"-list in Vault Explorer. I know there's the option to create a Shortcut for a folder/drawing/part/assembly in Vault, but it would be handy to select "File", "Recent Files" and select the file you've been working on lately. Inventor has the Recent Document overview, in MS Office you have the Recent Documents overview, why not in Vault Explorer?

Vault Recent Documents

Would you want this to list recent documents 'opened' or recent document 'activities'?

For example, list all documents that were 'modified' by Vault:

  • Check In/Out
  • Update Properties
  • Workflow State Change
  • Rename

Maybe both options? But if I had to choose between the two options, the last one (Vault activities) would certainly be okay.

Any updates on this one? It would be very useful, and doesn't seem hard to implement.
