Copy Design > Rename duplcate files during process

Copy Design... Duplicate file names, rename in session without impact.

Recent Scenario

1. Invoke Copy Design
2. Starting the process using top level drawing,
3. Rename... the process found a duplicate idw
4. User attempted to rename the duplicate to something else but was unable to do so.
5. Copy Design completely stopped

It would be great if Copy Design identified duplicate filenames and allowed corrective action during the process.

In this scenario, the user was unable to complete copy design and had to kill the process and start over. There must be a better way....

If this is an error on the users part, then where can I find the corrective steps? Nothing in Vault General form on this.

Auto file numbering was implemented in Vault 2015 R2 version of Copy Design along with Copy Design pre-checks, so any file duplicates are identified and the copy is stopped allowing users to rename.
