Chane Order Properties

Chane Order Properties

Would like the ability to capture the username of whomever submits a Change Order to each phase, and be able to save that with the ECO.  Right now about the only thing we have is "Last Updated By".  On a closed ECO, that will always be the Change admin.  What I'd like to see is, specifically, who submitted the ECO to Approved... and have that value STAY with the ECO.  One concern I've heard here from folks is, how do we know WHO approved these changes?  All we have is a UDP with a list of values... but anyone on the routing can change that value.  If there were a property that got set at each sumit stage, and stored... that would answer these concerns.

Interesting... I had forgotten this idea until someone brought it to my attention and asked about it.  It seems to have been marked accepted, and then Archived 5 years later.

Well, it's back boys!  And this time I've been approached by someone who not only needs to be able to have a change order UDP usable outside of the change order, but they would like to be able to create an ECO property that has an enforceable value, such that the ECO cannot change state unless the Value is set to "X". Any way to open this back up and get some more comments coming?
