Currently, Vault will show an error message: "One or more files cannot change to the specified state due to errors or restrictions", if a required property is missing when changing a file from one state to another. For example, we require order# to be entered when changing a file from Work In Progress to Released to Production. This error message is cryptic and causes confusion. It would be much nicer if, instead of the error, the prompt was "Order# must be filled out before moving file xyz to Released to Production" At that point, the user should be given the option to enter the missing property then and there. Right now, you have to close the error, find the file and the property, change the property and then try the Change State command again.
