Last week we vaulted a new project in order to rename files from the prototype designation to the "proper" part number filenames. We also did a duplicate cleanup, then rearranged some files into common part folders for hardware and pipes. Once all local workspaces were cleaned out, we started to open the updated .iam files and were presented with lost references for all the files we moved. Dealer is searching for an answer, but temporarily we have used the browser window to reconnect the files to the model. While local reseller is working on the problem, I was wondering if any other solutions were available. The only similar problem I've seen on the board was from 2004 and suggested the same solution we are doing now. We are using Inventor 9 and Vault 4.1 installed from the Productstream 4 CD. Thanks!
