hexidecimal error?

I have been getting an odd error message upon checking some parts into the vault. "Server returned the following error; hexidecimal value 0x0C, is an invalid character, line 6 position 118." What is this and how can I correct it. I currently cannot check in some parts because of it. I just upgraded to SP2 and noticed it. I am running IVP10 and V4.
Thanks
Bill
Thank You

Can you by chance e-mail me one of the parts that's causing the problem?

Thanks,
Jeff (jeffDOTpekATautodeskDOTcom)

Also, are you running Vault on full SQL or the MSDE version?

Bill,

Open this part in Inventor, Select IProperties from the File menu.
Goto the Summary tab and clear the character in the Author field.

Worked like a charm. How did you find that? Don't know how it got there at my end.

Just started looking around in it. We are going to log this as an issue
with our development department so that we have a better error message.
