can't find log in icon in inventor 2010 with Vault Manufacturing

Dear All,

I can't find log in menu from file->Vault Server. and I try to log in in the
"Vault" status, but it's just open Vault Manufacturing client.

I check in Inventor Add-in, it's display Autodesk Vault Add-in 14_0_63_0 for
Autodesk Inventor.

My System is WinXP 64 bits, with Inventor 2010 64bit and Vault
Manufacturing.

I try to reinstall Vault Manufacturing client, same problem with first
install(I had select "custom" to make sure to install inventor add-in).

Thanks and My Best Regards,

Jerome

Hi Jerome,

Your screen capture indicates that the EDM Addin is not loaded. Navigate to
Tools tab and select "Add-Ins". Right-click in the "Add-In Manager" window
and select "Show Hidden Members". Once this is checked you will see "EDM
Addin" appear in the list. Make sure this addin is loaded.

Regards,
Adam

Dear Adam,

I check as your mentioned, but I can't find "EDM addin". it's so strange
that I can find the login button in AutoCAD Mechanical 2010's Vault tool
bars.

is there any new suggestions?

My Best Regards,

Jerome

That is strange that it is not in the list. The EMD addin is installed by
Inventor. I would suggest posting to the Inventor newsgroup to see if the
Inventor experts have some advice for you. I will continue to look into it
and respond if I find anything helpful.

Regards,
Adam

Hi,

In my previous reply, please note [Drive:] is the location where Inventor application is installed.

It took nearly all day to find out what why my login/logout icons were not showing in Inventor 2011. This post proved to be successful.

Jerome thanks for the question.

Adam thanks for the fix. This was very helpful.
