can not rename excel

Hi, could do with a bit of help.
Most of my models are parametric and are driven from excel.
All in the vault, i now just want to rename each and evey parametric model, but get the attached error on renaming the excel xls.
Am I doing something wrong.?

this is correct behavior - I can't remember the exact reason but I think
it has to do with standard Inventor behavior - that link can't be edited
to the best of my knowledge without breaking something. Once you have
that file linked the only way to change its name is to manually fix it
using Inventor.
