Vault crashes

I am having a problem after upgrading to a new computer running x64 with vault crashing. It doesn't do the normal crash where an autodesk window opens. It does the program stopped working and I can either close or check online for solutions. Is there a way I can capture what is causing it to crash and send it off to autodesk for help? I installed "Autodesk_Vault_Collaboration_2011_client_english_win_32-64bit"

Hello Jacob,

Is there anything showing up in the Windows event log?  The other thing we can do to potentially help is if we get the server logs.  This will help if the client is actually passing the problem back to the server.  Unsure what else we can do with a hard crash.  Are there similar steps that are happening prior to the crash?  I would think any of these will help us to resolve your issue.

we have been reporting this same error for months.  After 2 clicks on any view the Vault crashes, we have this on all our CAD workstations.  When we open the windows log files, they are all filled with the same ERROR REPORTS ... AppCrash_connectivity.vau_e747bdd1099fd23dddcacf52dedb2a54c54619_0562194b.  We are using all 2012 versions, Vault Collaboration 2012, we had the same problems with 2011.  Is this problem is not fixed soon we will have to walk away from Autodesk!

That looks like an error with viewing DWFs. Do you see the crashes only when the View tab is active in the Vault client?

Have you tried running a repair on the Design Review application?

I can't seem to reproduce the crash with Vault Collab 2011 SP2 and Design Review 2013.

Did this problem start happening when you moved to Design Review 2013?

Are there certain file types the crash happens on?

Could you uninstall Design Review 2013 and reinstall Design Review 2011 (available here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=16412022&linkID=9338138)?

Then see if the problem still exists?

The crashing has been going on since installing vault. This does not seem to be an issue with my coworkers computers. When I get the time I will unistall and reinstall all autodesk products and see if that clears the issue

I have a user who is having the same problem on his workstation.  He's running Vault Pro 2013 and DesignReview 2013.  He's been having this problem since running the 2012 products.  We can see this in his event log.

I took your advice and performed an clean unistall of both Vault and DesignReview and reinstalled both.  He went 2-1/2 weeks without crashing and today he crashed trying to do a search.

Here is the event log:
