Instead of opening the drawing or modell in a neat little window when pressing the view button, the vault application launches Autocad or Inventor to view the files.
Anyone else experienced the same problem and found a solution?

What version of Vault are you using? Do you have DWG True View loaded on your machine?

I'm running vault professional 2014 with True View 2014 and Design Review 2013 Installed.
Hey Tom,
We are investigating this - believe it relates to 64 Bit machine compatibility issues. Will update you as more information becomes available.
Do you have visualisation (dwf/dwfx) files available? The View in Window command usually views the visualisation file but without one, the native data is opened.
Show the Vizualisation Attachment column in Vault Professional. I suspect for these CAD files the status will be None. Use Update to create a dwf and try again.
Paul.
Yeah, i have visualisation enabled, and the dwf files are published to a shared network drive.
The Visualisation files are system generated and i can see and interact with them in the preview tab.
So there must be something else messing with our view in window.
I think it's server related due to the fact all vault users on the same server are having this problem.

Yes, experiencing similar issue with VP2014. When we "View in Window" it opens Inventor View. It used to open Design Review.
The View tab is working as expected, so a dwf is present in Vault.
This is a 64 bit machine.
