Vault Explorer search does not work with Google Chrome

Vault Explorer search does not work with Google Chrome.  We have the Add-in for chrome installed but when I do a search it just sits there and loads with no results and no error messages.

Vault doesn't have an add-in for Google Chrome.  What add-in are you referring too?

The Vault thin client uses the the ActiveX control of Design Review which isn't support by Chrome and that add-in.

What does the add in do for vault explorer?  We view the DWF files and I believe I have had Vault Explorer and Chrome work on other computers. 

The Autodesk Design Review Browser Add-in for Autodesk Design Review software lets you view DWF™ files using Mozilla® Firefox® and Google Chrome for the Windows® operating system. Now, you can view embedded DWF files in Firefox and Chrome much the same way as you do in the Microsoft® Internet Explorer® browser.

Note: The Autodesk Design Review Browser Add-in does not support scripting or automation in the browser because Firefox and Chrome do not support COM controls.

Vault Explorer embeds the ActiveX control inside of the Preview tab in the lower right pane.  Since Vault Explorer and the thin client uses the ActiveX control, it can't use Chrome to embed the DWF file for viewing.
