Unique Filename Generator

Am thinking of writing (Via API), a unique filename generator to sit in IV
that parses Vault evertime you try to create a new file.

Is there any interest in something like this or is it just me??

I'm trying to do something like this.
I think it's something usefull and i guess many people would be
interested in. I'm not sure but I think PS proposes this kind of
functionnality.


Furthermore, I want my inventor Addin builds the filename on the vault
folder hierarchy and I want to add folders read/write access depending
on user's rights which are stored in a custom database...

A lot of work to do and I'm only at the beginning.

finally, this work is not one of my priorities at the moment

If you find something that might help, i'm interested
