What are you doing when you get this error?
Checking in a file(s)?

It's hard to say. It comes up in event veiw randomly. I'll attach the event log.

I noticed this problem the other day at a customer site. What is happening
is that the job dispatcher in Productstream which polls for lifecycle state
changes for email notifications is still running when the administrator runs
the backup. Vault Manager shuts down the web services while doing the
backup. the job dispatcher tries to connect but cannot, so it write the
message. This is harmless, but if you shut down the job dispatcher while
doing the backup, then you should stop seeing the messages.

How do I shut the job dispatcher down? Do I need to add something to my batch file for my back up.

Attached is the bat file. I had to convert it to txt to get the file to attach,

To Stop (from the command line) C:>net stop "Autodesk Data Management Job
Dispatch"
To Start (from the command line) C:>net start "Autodesk Data Management
Job Dispatch"

In your batch file put the stop command before line 1 and the start command
at the end of the file.

Make sure you stop the Job Dispatch before Stopping IIS and make sure you
start it after you restart IIS.

Are you certain that there are log file entries for last night? Can you take
a screenshot of the relevant entries and post them here?

Please attach a copy of your System log from the Event Viewer.
Also, verify that you are not looking at the old errors in the log.

The log file doesn't show that the Job Dispatch service was ever stopped.
Also, from the Event Viewer right-click on the System log and select Save
Log As...
and save it as a .evt file.
