Saving updated file over existing file

How do I replace existing files in vault with an updated files?

I have a client who sent us some inventor files I checked them into vault everything is good, as usual customer changes well client updates files on their end resends files now here is where I have the issue, I need to save these updated files over the (older) existing files that I already saved into vault.  Any suggestions.

Check out the old files from vault. 

Save the new files from your customer over the checked out files.

Check the new files back in.

I expect that this will break any constraints that depend on the customer files in your designs.
