We're using Vault Pro 2014. We're using a Job Server to generate the visualizations for any CAD files that get checked into Vault. I've noticed that the visualizations for Inventor drawings look terrible. I know I make sure that the drawing is done updating before I save it and check it in. So is there a setting that controls the quality of the DWF for Inventor drawings or the method in which they're created? It really looks like a raster preview. Or do I have to start generating them on check-in instead of sending them to the job server?
Settings for publishing Visualizations can be adjusted. Further details can be found here:
Jeff,
I visited the link you supplied, but I don't see anything that would affect the quality of a 2D Inventor visualization. Is there some other area, besides what I've shown below?
Vault uses Inventors publish tool. Using Inventor, if you export to DWF, how is the quality?
We've had issues with DWF quality where the Inventor drawing DWF's look faint and it was because the views were still Raster in Inventor and not finished computing when it was checked in. Currently, at least what I could find, there is no way around this because during the Publish process the Job Server doesn't know to wait for the drawing views to finish either

HI
We have just upgraded to inventor 2014 and i agree this is a massive problem. As a company we heavily print from dwfx that is stored in a miiror site and all dwgs are sent to manufacture .
The quality of these dwgs are aterrible and will cause a nightmare for our production.
Did we ever get answer from Autodesk on this issue .I will be contacting them today to get a response if any.
Brilliant! This is working for me too
Mike
