We cannot view PDF files in Vault Professional on some of our Computers. Viewing of DOC & EXE files works on all machines. All computers are using XP 64bit, Inventor 2011 with Vault Professional with 1st update installed. Does the version of Adobe viewer make a difference?

I have Acrobat reader 9.3.3 installed. Other computers using 9.3.1 can preview PDF files.
Is there any resrtiction on the version of Internet Explorer?

Hi Vince,
You should be able to use Acrobat Reader 9.3.3 to preview PDF files within the Vault client.
Under Vault Options, there resides a set of Document Previewer Options (See attached) which controls the types of documents allowed for preview. Do you see the 'PDF Preview Handler (*.pdf)' option listed in the options dialog? If Acrobat Reader is properly installed and registered, it should be listed there. Also please ensure that it is checked to enable the preview.
Please make sure you have updated the Adobe Reader to the latest version. If it is still not work. Please try the attached tool to fix the bug of Adobe Reader’s installer.Adobe Reader’s installer had a mistake - write the incorrect key value in registry on 64-bit systems. It cause the preview handler did not work on 64-bit systems.
