Missing Migrated Data

Our IT guy indicates that he's migrated and moved Vault 2008 data into Vault 2009 successfully, but when I go into Vault 2009, I see no data. Any advise? Is there an indexing or attaching procedure that he needs to complete first?

Is this the same server.?

Did the IT guy upgrade a current server running 2008 to 2009.?

If he did then he should have taken a full backup, deinstalled 2008 (leaving SQL behind), installed 2009 which would of found the SQL instance and it would of migrated the files after then.

Not sure what you mean by migrated and moved.?

I'm not sure there are any extra tasks like you mention. I recently went from Vault 5 to 2009 and besides my little teething troubles all the files were there straight from the word go.
