Is SP1 for SQL Server 2008 R2 supported with Vault Server 2012?

Hey there,

This support article lists the supported ADMS 2012 configuration - no SP1, most likely as this was released after 2012 product so was not tested.

SQL 2008 R2 is actually OK - but SP1 has not been and may not be tested.  It is rare that we add support for legacy releases (we do offer SP1 support in Vault 2013) but this is sometimes reviewed if we find considerable benefit in doing  so.  We would likely announce this support through the discussion group etc.

To be clear there is a difference between what is supported and what actually works - anecdotally though we have seen some performance degradation on sites running unsupported SQL service packs.

Oops.  My question should have read "Does that mean Vault Server 2012 is not going to be tested on SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1?"
