Inventor 2011 slow connection to Vault 2011

We have just upgraded our vault from 2009 to 2011

We have 2008 R2 windows server x64

SQL 2008

windows 7 clients x64 with autodesk 2011 vault and inventor and mechanical

when working on documents in inventor, there is slowness when trying to bring up the right click menu of drawings.

it takes around 5 seconds after each click for the menu to come up.

looking at the ADMS log here is the message each time the problem occurs

Hi there,

Can you ensure that you have all the latest updates for vault 2011 (apologies hat there are quite a few of these to work through).

The 241 error here should not be of concern, do you see slowness in any other areas of he vault interaction (checking out files for example), does his occur across all machines?  When logged out of vault does Inventor behave as expected?

Hi Allan

We have installed update 1 and 2

what others are required?

inventor performs fine when not connected to the Vault.  Slowness seems to happen in all areas when connect to the Vault
