Is it possible to have an Inventor custom iproperty (for dwg title field in titleblock) and an Autocad attribute (again, dwg title field in titleblock) mapping to the same field in the Vault? We have Autocad and Inventor drawings in the same folders in Vault and would like to see common Vault fields displaying the information regardless of Autocad or Inventor.

Yes, you would create a separate mapping for Inventor and Autocad, from the same Vault property. Example:

Looks like attributes are available for mapping as well as properties. I'll look at this further tomorrow morning.

You can map block attributes or file properties.
But if you want to more than one layout in a DWG with different values in each title block you will have to use sheet set manager, which is integrated with Vault.
Hi Mikel,
I'm very comfortable with configuring vault to map to autocad attributes; however, I wasn't aware about your comments regarding seperate attribute values via SSM. I've hardly worked with SSM since most customers I work with are either on Inventor or their ACAD data is in model space; however, I'd like to know how to do this should the need arise - would you have a link (doc or video) or summary of steps to set this up?
Thanks,
Ryan
