The files going into our vault are always stored based on a project folder. When our Contact Adminstrators need to submit documents and drawings from the vault it hard for them to work with items since the numbers that are generated are all over the place. Meaning they have to locate one document at a time and some jobs have over 100 documents/drawings. Working on the vault/project folder side, they do not know which item is assigned to which file name without going to each assoicated link. Not all project documents or drawings get submitted to the customer.
So my questions are:
1. Can you sort Items based on a given project folder in vault?
2. Can you show item number information in the folder/file view?
3. Can you generate a report based on project in vault that also shows the assoicated item number info?
Based on my research I don't think this is possible but I need someone to confirm if this is true..
