Establish a Lifecycle??

We've got parts that we cannot change because they don't have a lifecycle.  How do you establish a lifecycle?

P.S. - These were parts created long before we had Vault. Thanks, Greg

Greg,

Are you an administrator to the vault?

What version of vault are you using?

This is where you typically create/maintain lifecycles.

It also should not matter that these parts were created prior to vault.

Do you have any lifecycles established?

When we implimented vault we had a lot of files created.  We had to create the lifecycles first, but even with that said, if you create them later, they still should show up.  I am using 2012 workgroup.

If you could provide what cycles you dosee and what they look like with these particular files that would be helpful.

Another thing to keep in mind is once the life cycles are created, you have to go into each one and establish the details for each.  Here is where your issue may be.
