Error " The specified Path , File name. or Both are too long

Hello ,

I am getting an error message, "The specified path, File name , or both are too long"

 When I try to check out a document, I have already changed the Temp Folder to C:\Temp to reduce the path length  but still this has not resolved the problem,

Please help urgently as this is preventing from checking out any document,

Hello Prashant,

Try to right mouse click the vault folder where the file resides. In the properties dialog, you can change the Working Folder to a windows folder with proper length for this vault folder. See if that works or not.

With path too long error I use an alternative tool "Long Path Tool" a guaranteed fast and easy fix .

It is really true that "Long Path Tool" is the best Tool for fixing this type of problem
