Distribute dialog & prompt suppression settings across the team

Is there a config file somewhere which stores the CAD Add-In and Vault Client dialog and prompt suppression settings? Maybe there are some registry keys which set it?

I want the administrator to make some decisions surrounding standards for dialog suppression, then push them out to the team in some way. I'm mainly interested in the Inventor Add-in and the Vault client at this stage. But it would be useful for the others as well.

Hi Scott,

thanks for engaging here with us on the forums.

There is a xml file called

"Applicationpreferences.xml" in e.g. for Inventor here: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Inventor 2015 Vault Addin

you can check there the dialogues and use

<Property Name="Suppressed" Value="True" />

to play around with the settings

If you make them not work any longer, just delete it and it will be recreated on restart of Inventor.
