Delete Item in Productstream 2009 from SQL Enterprise

I need to know how I delete an item of engineering within the SQL SERVER Database. What are the forms within the database to completely delete an item?, Since the normal procedure to remove an item of engineering did not work, need to know how this can be done from the SQL SERVER Database.

STEPS ARE NEEDED TO MAKE THIS PROCESS.

Thank You.

Sorry, but we don't support direct modifications to the databases via SQL as
doing so could break the applications in subtle or not so subtle ways.

I recommend that you either open a call with Product Support (either thru
your reseller, or thru your subscription, whichever applies); or post some
specifics about what is preventing you from doing this from the Vault
Manufacturing client such as the errors you are seeing, etc. I assume some
restrictions are preventing the deletion?

Hello,
If you need to remove an Item in Productstream, the recommended way is to
make the Item Obsolete, then you can delete it. Hope this helps.
