Decrease Revision Solution ?

Is there a way to decrement a revision? It doesn't seem so, but maybe by creating a new revision scheme ?

I am looking for a solution because often I accidentally put a file into work in progress whereby Vault increases the revision OR the file somehow got loaded to Vault with the wrong revision and I need to lower it.

Hi there,

No, unfortunately you cannot roll back a document revision.

We struggle with this too. Especially, when having to do a quick change or the like. We actually created a custom property called "Revision_Level". This is what we go by rather than the default. Allows us to be extremely flexible, especially when using items. We really didn't have a choice.

Yeah I think administrators should be able to roll back a revision.
