Can't Login to Vault from Excel or MS Word

I have Vault 2013 Basic Client installed.  The MS Office Add-in (x32) is also installed.  I am using Office 2007 (x32).  When I am in Excel or Word, and I click the Log-in on the ribbon, nothing happens.  Since I cant login, I can't check-in/out from Excel or word.

As a work around, I have to go to the vault browser and check-in/out from there.

What I have tried so far. Did a repair install on Vault Basic. Followed the hotfix DL20374319. Neither of these fixed the problem.

Why can't I login from excel or word?

I had trouble in step 1 of the hotfix.  The problem was I could not find the folder it was pointing me to.  My install folder for the client is c:\Program Files\Autodesk\Vault Basic 2013.

I did check the folder outlined in step 2 and the two files exists there.
