Bad folder structure in Vault

Having a bad Vault-structure at my company I need to change it to accomplish creating a single master project.

Our folder-structure looks like this with a project in every one of it:

Vault explorer ($)
+ Content_Center
+ Company standard components
+ Purchased components (library folder)
+ Project 1
+ Project 2
ASO.

I have realized that to be able to freely move folders and files between different projects/folders I must change the folder structure into something like this and then create a master project:
Vault explorer ($)
+ Content_Center
+ Designs
++ _Company standard components
++ _Purchased components
++ Project 1
++ Project 2
ASO.

I have tried moving individual files and folders into a new good folder structure but its not possible, see error message in attached picture. How do we fix this?

Please help!

We're running Autodesk Vault 2010 and IV2010

Do you have multiple ipj files in your Vault?

If yes, I thing it is not a realy good situation...It would be better to have only one...

But to get rid of a multiple project in vault, is not a simple task...

Yes, we have multiple ipj files in Vault. And we now want to start using only one master ipj.

Anybody know if its possible to get rid of multiple project in Vault, and if so how?

I know a good solution:

Get all your Vault content on a workspace.

Delete all unwanted project...

Create a new Vault... :o(

Use autoloader to reload all data in this new Vault...

You will loose versions but would get a "clean" Vault!
